I saw Mr Kunasingam at Shirley Oaks hospital and I had keyhole bunion surgery on both feet , one in April the other in July. Both times I was able to return to work after a few days although I couldn’t walk very far and needed to rely on family to chauffeur me! Once the bandages were removed after 2 weeks I was able to drive again and walk around more . I even returned to yoga after 2 weeks ! He did such a fantastic job and I had no problems atall. He was so kind explaining everything and fitting in my surgeries to fit in with my busy life , he even took photos of my X-rays on my phone for me at my follow up appointment. I’m so happy now with my new feet! If you’re thinking about bunion surgery I would very highly recommend Mr Kunasingham , he is a genius!

Im writing on behalf of my mother, Margaret , who Mr Kunasingam operated on in May . From our first meeting , he put us completely at ease , and told us not to worry - his words were ‘your problem is now my problem ‘. The operation on her foot was’nt the easiest he admitted later , but it was a complete success . Margaret is now walking with ease and is remarkably better now , considering she is 92 years of age ! Our thanks to Mr Kunasingam and his staff for all their excellent work

I fell and broke my ankle in 3 places last August 2017 , whilst on holiday. I flew back to the UK and had surgery on the Saturday- I was due to have surgery on the Friday but another experienced trauma surgeon advised me to wait for Mr Kunasingam. I had an ankle ORIF done under the care of Mr Kunasingam who was the perfect choice. I was made to feel part of my care at all times , fully informed and kept up to date . I put my trust in Mr Kunasingam to put me back together and give me my life back. I have had physiotherapy since then and still having physio with several months intervals . The incisions are very neat and I have no visible scar. I am back up on my feet now thanks to Mr Kunasingam’s expertise and commitment. He truly is a dedicated surgeon who cares for all of his patients. I even went to the Monaco Grand Prix in May which I thoroughly enjoyed , many thanks Mrs Susan Hunt

I ruptured my achilles tendon whilst exercising in mid may. Luckily for me Mr Kunasingam was on call at my local hospital the week of my injury. The day after my accident I was seen by him to discuss treatment options. As a medical doctor I had done my own research on conservative vs operative management and I was unsure of what I should go for. Mr Kunasingam explained the pros and cons of each method and also took the time to call my next of kin to discuss it with them to. I was very confident in him and decided to go for surgery. I had the operation that afternoon, 24 hours after my injury. I am now 6 weeks post operative.. I have been virtually pain free, I have had minimal swelling and I am already weight-bearing in trainers and able to walk. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Kunasingam. He has made my recovery from this incredibly serious injury so much easier. He has been kind and professional throughout and I am forever grateful.

I had a minimally invasive phallus vagus reconstruction performed by Mr Kunasingam at Shirley Oaks Hospital, Croydon on 24 April this year. I specifically chose Mr Kunasingam and travelled a fair distance to do so. I had had bunion surgery on my left foot about 10 years ago at my local hospital - I was in plaster for 6 weeks, experienced excruciating pain and was unable to wear a shoe for 3 months. The contrast with this surgery was astonishing. I only needed pain killers on the day of the operation, was wearing normal shoes after 2 weeks and back in high heels after 6 weeks. I was safely able to drive after 2 weeks. Mr Kunasingam was the ultimate professional and his manner could not be faulted. Everything was explained in detail and no consultation was ever rushed. I thoroughly recommend Mr Kunasingam and he has my absolute confidence and thanks.
